5 Reasons Why You Should Wait Until You Are Married To Have Children.

Children are nature’s joy, yet when a child enters your life, you are met with foreseen and unforeseen challenges, however you must nourish, teach and govern the child as he/she develops. While today children are born and cared for in many different ways, it goes without saying that children that grows up in two parent homes have better chances of succeeding in life. More than one income families are most likely to live in suburban areas where their children go to schools with excellence ratings. Though I came from a single parent home myself and do not disregard the hard working single mothers or fathers that create an average or extraordinary life for their children, I do recognize the importance of getting married than having children.

1.      Children are expensive: Babies are cute and cuddly and they say and do the darnest things but babies cost money. Diapers, formula (if you are not breast feeding), clothes, accessories, cribs and such, keeping up with the cost of a baby can definitely become overwhelming. A two parent home can increase the income being brought into the family.
2.      Marriage provide stability: Children need a stable environment. When children come from an unstable environment it can affect their development. Children do well in an environment where they know what to expect. The children’s best interest should be at mind when parents make decision, however the effects of life such as separation or divorce, change of school or neighborhood, and job loss or financial displacements all can affect children.
3.      Established in your career: Education at most is one of the most important things that you can achieve. There are many things people can take from you in life, but there is one thing that they cannot take from you that is your education and your mind. College or University is not for everyone, but everyone must find a trade and establish a career to be able to provide for their children. Finding a career helps you establish yourself allowing you to create financial stability. Financial stability is important in the care of children. Keeping up with children growing needs dictates that you are financially stable, and having an education of some sort can help you do so.
4.      Allow yourself to develop: Life’s situations will make you change or tweak your perspectives on different things. Though it is not anything wrong with learning life as your child learn, because life is about trial and error, however one should be mature enough to direct the children towards the right path. Allowing yourself to develop puts you in a position to know who you are and where you going with the necessary steps to get there.
5.      Enjoy yourself, be you: While you are young you should travel, do the things that you want to do. Get your education or find a trade. Pursue your dreams, pursue a career. Children will change your life completely. From conception you must change to provide for your baby. Are you ready for a new lifestyle? Are you ready for newfound responsibilities? The joy of children is indescribable, yet one would be remiss if they did not acknowledge the toll it could take on parents physically, mentally and emotionally.
