Who am I? What am I doing here? Where am I going?
Who am I, What am I doing here and where am I going? Wow, what
such loaded questions, but can you answer all three, two out of three or at
least one out of three. Of course, I am not talking about in the literal sense,
whereas I answer I am Kristyna, I am writing, and eventually I will get up and
go to the kitchen and cook. Throughout life we search for these answers. Though
some find the answers to these questions many wander throughout life not
knowing who they are, what they are doing here, or where they are going. These
three questions are the basis to life, to our life. It is the basis to how we
present ourselves to the world. The search for the answers to these questions
begins at birth and continues throughout life, rather one find these answers
depends on that individual person and their determination to better themselves
through past successes and failures and real life experiences.
Genetically we are a mix of our parents. We are composed of our
parents DNA which describes our physical make-up, but when you look in the
mirror you see more than just your parents, you see a unique individual with
his/her own mind, demeanor, and dreams. You are you. Who am I, is not just
physical. Who am I refers to what do I describe myself to be. Through life our
perception of ourselves change, but the understanding of who you really are can
only be obtained through carefully considering your strengths and weakness and
going through circumstantial situations giving you experience which is
pertinent in decision making. Who am I is not just my physical outlook, but all
that encompasses me.
Our lives are all valuable, and we all have a purpose, however the
question what am I doing here longs through people minds every day. Many of us
learn our purpose as a child, however many spend their whole life trying to
find their purpose in life, aimlessly wandering around making conscious
mistakes regardless of consequences in life. More often than not parents
encourage dreams on the way to one finding their purpose in life. Pushed by
extracurricular activities through the motivation to want more and give more to
those around you. Gifted and talented in our own rights. To live for, to die
for, What is your purpose? What will be your legacy?
Where are you going? Well, that depends on that are you doing
today? Your present effects your future, what you are doing now will effect
decisions that are made tomorrow? Are you moving forward, backward or at a
standstill. If progression is not present, one should reevaluate one's life and
choices and make a change in order to redirect the path one's headed.
As we continue to grow and change each day as circumstantial situations
and life experiences occur, formal explanation of Who am I, What am I doing
here, and Where am I going changes, however we must utilize each experience as
chances to learn in order to formulate a sound identity which will influence
our thoughts on who I am, What I am doing here and Where I am going.
