New Poem: Faith

How does one keep moving in the sign of defeat?

My heart is weakened by repetitive unreasonable adversities,

I have given my all—

And this is what has been given to me,

Gracious for my blessings,

Nonetheless, enticed by the natural order of societal norms,

Success—

A different definition in every perspective,

Life has not been no walk on the beach with pristine sand,

It’s more like mountain climbing… through the Alps,

Least the correct equipment for the feat,

How much more shall I bare?

I’ve tried… I’ve tried plan A through Z,

Questioned my hopes, dreams and everything in-between,

Prayed hard, down on my knees,

Fighting to believe,

There’s more to it, than what you see,

Faith—the believe in what you can’t see,

Faith is how you keep moving in the signs of defeat.
