Happy Fathers Day or shall I say Heavenly Father's Day

Sunday was Father's Day! It's a holiday that is celebrated all over the world. Well, maybe some places probably don't celebrate such a day. I however, personally never really celebrated father's day. It came around like any other day for me. Mother's Day was another story, I celebrated mother's day. Well I used to. Nowadays, I don't celebrate holidays. I don't necessarily need to get into the why of why I don't celebrate holidays, right now. That could be another blog post. 

Sunday as it was Father's Day, it was a little different "father's" day for me. See I don't celebrate holidays, and more specifically Father's Day. I just thought that I reiterate that as it is very important to note. This "Father's Day" was a new beginning. Hence going forth, shall I celebrate "Father's Day". Yet not on some government specified day, yet every day shall I celebrate, praise, and thank "The Father" for every day is HIS day. 

I cried and reflected as I seen people post and honor their father, however, I also rejoiced in knowing that from hence forth I shall create new experiences with my heavenly father. 

Healing my Father wound is bringing me closer to the Father. So I guess Happy Father's Day every day that is rejoicing that I am a daughter of God and I have a Father that knows the plans for me.

As a child I remember wanting to be a teacher when I grew up. It was my third grade teacher Mrs. Rice who inspired me. She was small in stature, and always wore a smile. Her body size is what intrigued me the most. She was so tiny, however she could handle us unruly children. It was that primarily why I became interested in teaching. I believed that since I was tiny liker her, I could be a good teacher and handle my students as well as she did. As I aged my interest in teaching faded, and I found my gift. I was blessed in the 6th grade to come have Mrs. Weave as my 6th grade teacher. Though at first I didn't realize the impact she would have on my life, I do now. She instructed the class to write three poems after a class lessons. I wrote "What A Beautiful Day", "Friends", and "At Night". My Journey...... So far..............

     When I graduated high school May 31, 2005. I enjoyed my summer. Then about August 25 I went down to Montgomery, Alabama to attend Alabama State University. While at Alabama State University I made friends and memories that will last with me for a life time.       Around the end of my sophomore year nearing spring break a representative from Walt Disney World college program came to our school. My best friends and I attended the presentation after we preregistered for our Fall 2007 classes. After we attended the presentation, we were invited to an interview. I went to my interview and the representative asked me to come and become an intern at Walt Disney World. I temporarily accepted the position. I called my mother excited as ever. I asked her do she think it would be a good idea if I went. She told me it was an opportunity of a lifetime and how could I even be thinking about it.
